If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas and Vegas Entertainment is what you are looking for, there is plenty of venues that you will need to be sure to see.

Of course, it’s the casinos and nightlife of Las Vegas that are most appealing to many travelers that visit this world famous destination.

The great weather and outdoor attractions also have appeal as well. Here are some of the Vegas hot-spots you can’t miss during your trip. If you’re planning on checking out some of the Las Vegas Casinos, these are your two main destinations to visit: The Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Strip has many of the big casinos that have been around for decades, while downtown Las Vegas is more of a local spot that has some great casinos that are less flashy, but offer a more authentic Vegas Entertainment experience. The strip is a major entertainment area with many of the city’s shows taking place in the large hotels that are also home to some of the biggest casinos, as well as great Vegas Hotel Deals.

You do want to make sure that you take the time while in Vegas to visit ‘Vintage Downtown Vegas’ to see the ‘Fremont Street Experience’. Fremont Street in old downtown Vegas is rich in history and is also basically where it all got started for Las Vegas Entertainment. Fremont Street is famous for more than just the first casinos in Vegas though. It was also the first street to be paved, the first traffic light, the first high-rise hotel and the first elevator!

In 1995 Fremont Street was transformed into a seven-block, open-air pedestrian mall that still to this day features permanent performance stages, live vegas entertainment and an overhead graphic light show that is unprecedented for its time. The overhead graphic-light and live-action video show spans four-blocks long on a 90-foot high barrel canopy.

The show features state-of-the-art LED technology that creates a multitude of astonishing color combination’s from the 12.5 million bulbs of resolution!

Las Vegas Shows

When you pay a visit to some of the large hotels and casinos, make sure you check out some of the infamous Las Vegas shows that take place. You can see Cirque du Soleil, magic shows, burlesque shows and much more. Just to name a few, Penn and Teller are regulars at the Rio while across the street at the glittering Flamingo Casino Resort you can catch the show Legends in Concert.

Across the street is the world famous ‘Fountains of Bellagio’ show and across the street from the Bellagio Casino Resort is the long running V Theater Shows in the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood. More to come on all of the great Vegas Entertainment shows will be featured in up coming articles. All the shows are entertaining and very unique to Vegas!

Hotel Resort Pools

Some of the top hotels open up some of their pools to all Vegas visitors whether you’re staying there or not, for a fee. If you want to relax and enjoy what Vegas has to offer, this is the way to do it! You can get your fruity drink and lounge out and take advantage of the hot Vegas climate as well as all of the hot Vegas babes at poolside. Lots of nice eye-candy at the Vegas pools for both the men and ladies to enjoy!

Several of the larger mega-resorts have created pools that are much more than your everyday run of the mill swimming pool. Many are built to mimic beaches with the beach sand, palm trees, cabanas, swim up water-bars, Swim-Up-Blackjack and more.

Grand Canyon

While the Grand Canyon is not right in the Las Vegas Entertainment mecca, it’s still really close, it is in Arizona and this is a common destination that Vegas visitors make a point to see. This is one of the world’s most exciting natural occurring phenomenon. One of the ‘seven natural wonders of the world’ and stopping by to see it is essential!

There is plenty to see if you’re paying a visit to Las Vegas whether you’re out during the night or day. Many of the casinos, nightclubs and more remain open around the clock since Las Vegas is a popular party city! This is one of the best appeals that make it a great place to go for a bachelor party or major celebration.

Of course, there is the potential that you’ll never see outside of a Las Vegas Casino, so then the sites and sounds you should ensure you don’t miss include the slots, video poker, casino poker, blackjack, roulette and craps tables. You might just win enough to pay an additional visit to this popular destination to see all of the Vegas Entertainment and those other things that you missed visiting the first time around!
